This object was planned and produced by "Kiinox"*1, which promotes the utilization and distribution of domestic timber, and is made from unused wood and scraps.
The design was created by spatial designer Yukari Ichinomiya.*3 The natural color of the wood and soft curves represent the human body.
It was made by Unate Kobo, a palace craftsman responsible for the creation of temples, shrines, and Buddhist temples. It is a new work of art that combines beauty and utility as an interior object or as a prop to display jewelry.

*2I-DESIGN Ichinomiya Yukari While involved in the spatial design of various apparel and jewelry brands, she is also experimenting with production techniques and expressions for objects that can be used as props in stores and photography shoots.
*3 Unate Kobo This is a workshop where the "Kuden-shi" craftsmen who are involved in the production of Buddhist altar implements, one of Japan's traditional crafts, gather. They are creating the most important part of the main hall of the temple, the place where the Buddha is enshrined. They make many small wooden parts, from cylindrical pillars to roofing tiles, and then assemble and connect them to create the structure.
